Shipping policy

Order Processing
Clever-Smart-Design will process your online order within 3 – 5 working days of receiving your order on weekdays, given all items are in stock.

We ship orders weekly.

Out of Stock items
Occasionally items may be out of stock. All back-order items (if applicable) will ship as they come out of our workshop and therefore items ordered together may not be shipped together. Dispatching of back-ordered items can take up to 2 weeks, depending on production schedules.
We will contact you if any of your items are back-ordered in the event changes are needed to proceed.

When an order is placed on www.clever-smart-design.com, you will receive an email confirming the order and the billing details of your order once payment is confirmed. The order acceptance will be when the funds have been received and the product(s) have been dispatched to you. 

Shipping Charges
Regular shipping charges are shown during Checkout. Current shipping costs for Rimu Collection items and Mini Cupcake Stands are:

Worldwide:

  • International Air Small Parcel – no tracking: 24 NZD
  • International Courier – Tracked, signature required: 62 NZD

AUS:

  • International Air Small Parcel – no tracking: 15 NZD
  • International Courier – Tracked, signature required: 34 NZD

NZ:

  • Courier – Tracked: 7.50 NZD
  • Standard – No tracking: 4.50 NZD

Current shipping costs for Candle Holders and Cake Stands are:

Worldwide:

  • International Air Small Parcel – no tracking: 38 NZD
  • International Courier – Tracked, signature required: 62 NZD

AUS:

  • International Air Small Parcel – no tracking: 15 NZD
  • International Courier – Tracked, signature required: 34 NZD

NZ:

  • Courier – Tracked: 12.50 NZD
In cases, when items of heavy weight or irregular size are ordered, additional shipping charges may apply. In these cases, customers will also be notified via email and asked to pay additional shipping and handling charges. Shipping charges are not included in the price of the product. Shipping charges are determined by the size of your order, its total weight, and taxes (if applicable) on shipping in accordance with State policies.


International Deliveries - Customs
When ordering goods from Clever-Smart-Design for international deliveries you may be subject to import duties and/or taxes. Clever-Smart-Design is not responsible for any charges that are incurred from customs/duties whatsoever. Any additional charges for customs clearance are considered outside of our control and Clever-Smart-Design cannot predict the value of what these charges may be. For further information on custom and excise policies in your country, please contact your local customs office.

Shipping Frequency
Clever-Smart-Design ships orders weekly. 

Your shipping options and cost will be outlined at the time of checkout. Where applicable, you may track your order via the respective carrier website after your order has shipped.
Please note that international orders may be shipped via regular airmail (if you select that option) and do not come with a tracking number. We do not assume any responsibility for lost packages or packages damaged in transit. Upon shipping you will receive a confirmation email with the details of your order.
